Acumem is a privately held company based in Uppsala, Sweden with sales office in Boston, USA. Solutions for Multi-coreWe live in a world of services based on calculation intense computer application. Be it weather reports, animated movies, aero dynamic simulation or the use of ABS systems in your car to make your travel safer. These applications demand more and more computing power which is solved by introducing more processors and processors with many cores (multi-core processors). The problem is that unless programs are optimized for the new architecture performance could in a worst case scenario be worse than with an old single core system. Unique Approach - Answering the WHAT, WHERE, and HOWAcumem's unique and patented technology has its origin in "world class" ranked research at Uppsala University. It unobtrusively gathers a representative but sparse fingerprint of the monitored application's behavior, and uses statistical methods to point to SlowSpots in the code. Unlike traditional profilers that gathers a lot of data but offer little analysis, Acumem SlowSpotter will identify many classes of SlowSpots and for each one, its estimated efficiency gain is presented together with all the necessary information and links needed to fix the issue:
